ஆண்டு தோறும் மார்ச் 21ஆம் தேதி உலக வன நாள் கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது. காடு என்பது நிறைய மரங்கள் இருக்கக் கூடிய ஓர் பகுதி என்று மட்டும் கருதக்கூடாது. மரங்கள், விலங்குகள் மற்றும் அங்கு வாழும் பூர்வீக வாசிகளும் சேர்ந்த தொகுப்பாகும். விலங்குகள் மற்றும் மரங்களை ஒருங்கிணைத்து வளர்ப்பதற்கு, வனத்துறை மூலம் பல்வேறு நடவடிக்கைகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வருகின்றன.. பெருமளவு அதிகரித்துவரும் பாலீத்தீன் பைகள் மற்றும் பிளாஸ்டிக் பொருள்களினால் பொருள் கழிவுகளினாலும் மனிதர்களின் ஆக்கிரமிப்பாலும் காடுகள் அழிந்து வருகின்றன. இவற்றை தவிர்த்து, வன வளங்களைப் பாதுகாக்க பொதுமக்கள் முன்வர வேண்டும்.உலக வெப்பமயமாதலை தவிர்ப்பதற்கும் குறைப்பதற்கும் ஏராளமாக மரங்களை வளர்த்து இருக்கின்ற காடுகளை பாதுகாப்பதற்கான தீவிர நடவடிக்கைகள் எடுக்கப்படவேண்டியுள்ளது.

World Forest Day is celebrated on March 21rd every year. Forest is not just a piece of trees that can be a lot of trees. The collection comprised of trees, animals and indigenous inhabitants.
